Our family-friendly adventure is led by one or more of our professional guides. Our bikes, ranging from S-XL, are state of the art electric mountain bikes, which allows the family to explore 2,000 acres of trails. There are 2 adventures per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Minimum 2 people per adventure.

RENO: 45 minutes
395 North, approximately 20 minutes
State Route 70 West (left turn), approximately 25 minutes
Go past Beckwourth, approximately 1/8 mile
Turn south (left turn) on County Road A-23 (left turn, sign says “Calpine 13”)
2.3 miles to ranch gate on the right. ATV on a pole at gate

Truckee: 45 minutes
From Truckee/Interstate 80, take State Route 89 North
At Sierraville, turn North (left turn) at the stop sign
Proceed approximately 5 minutes on State Route 89 North to Sattley. (Very small town!)
At Sattley, turn East (right turn) on West Side Road Travel 10 miles on West Side Road (becomes A-23 at the county line)
Ranch gate is on your left. ATV on a pole at gate.

Graeagle: 20 minutes
State Route 89 North to State Route 70.
State Route 70 east (right turn), go through Portola.
Approximately 5 miles east of Portola, take County road A-23 South (right turn, sign says “Calpine 13”)
2.3 miles to the ranch gate on right. ATV on a pole at gate.

In the Lost Sierra region north of Lake Tahoe. 30 miles from Reno and Truckee.

How many people can I bring?

EcoBikeAdventures encourages group bookings (parties of 4-16) with a minimum of 3. Contact us if you have a larger party, or would like to book a private tour of less than 3.

Do I need to have riding experiences to participate?

No. Anyone 10 years of age or older who knows how to ride a bike can participate.

During what time of the year are you open?

Weather permitting, we are open all year round, usually through spring, summer, and fall.

How do I book a tour?

Checklist - what should I bring?

Water and a light snack if you wish.
Comfortable closed-toed shoes.
Breathable, layered clothing you can move in.
Long sleeves recommended.
